Best money we've spent on a baby "toy" so far!

My 6 month old daughter loves this jumper! She can not get enough of bouncing up and down. The toy attachments are great and keep her even more occupied. We've tried other jumpers at friends' houses and they are not the same. I suspect it's the toys hanging off the sides -just when she starts to get a little tired of the seat she'll "find" one of the toys and she's back jumping away. She'll happily bounce, spin and coo away giving me enough time to get dinner ready. My biggest complaint with this jumper is trying to get her out of it. It's a challenge because of the fabric seat and the bar over head, but it's easy to get the hang of it. I would buy this again in an instant. We joke it's the best thing we've bought for her so far.

out of control!

I will be returning this jumper and looking for a different model. We have a fisher price stand alone jumper...and my 6 month old son loves it. I thought he would love this too. Not so much. He leans to one side or the other and then only one foot it on the ground causing him to spin out of control like a teetering top. There is hardly any spring in it, so when he tries to bounce he just swings crazily in a circle. I tried everything...making it taller, making it shorter...nothing helped. After a few minutes he bonked his head on the doorframe of our super-wide double doorway (I had it hung in the middle). That was the end of that. I would recommend a jumper with a stand like a jumperoo or one without the horizontal bar construction that this one has, it seems like that is what makes it so unsteady.

Why this product stinks

I purchased one of these despite all the bad reviews I'd read. I liked the way it looked so much more than the others in it's price range so I thought I'd give it a try and see if I could make it work for us. I was boxing back up again within a couple hours. Here are the two very big problems.Firstly the ropes in the front are close enough together to keep it from being able to tip forward, but because there is no tray and the top of the basket is right under the baby's arms, the baby gets rope burn from trying to play with the toys that are hanging on the front. After about five minutes in this bouncer my son started crying (which he almost never does). I took him out and he had rope burn through his shirt on the backs of his arms.Secondly, depending on who assembles your particular chair, you may get a spinner instead of a bouncer. Straight out of the box (before I put my son in) just hanging there, the green bar above the seat was level, but the seat itself was not level at all. When I put my son in (after adjusting the height etc.) the weight of his body leveled the seat out but the bar above it became slanted causing him to turn in circles continuously. The ropes on the left side were a good inch or so longer than the ones on the ones on the right. Upon further examination I was able to see that all four ropes are actually one rope that winds through the whole thing. So if the person assembling your bouncer is being lazy (and judging by the reviews almost all of them are) and they don't measure how much rope goes to each side perfectly, your chair will not work. I toyed with the idea of trying to adjust it, but without boring your to death with details of shoddy workmanship, I can tell you it would have been a waste of my time and not safe for my kiddo.After my bad experience I spent WAY too much time researching bouncers. I very nearly spent $120 on the Merry Muscles, but decided to give the Graco Bumper Jumper a try first. I'm so glad I did. They have worked ALL the kinks out of the design. We have been happily and safely bouncing for $35

Great design, smooth swing, and a quiet baby

I've had this swing for about a month now after buying it at Baby's R Us before it was released on Amazon so I was really taking a chance with this one. I was looking at just about every swing I could. I initially was looking into the Fisher-Price Cradle 'N Swing, My Little Snugabunny because of the features that it offered and even compared it side by side with the Graco. Although the Graco cost more my wife and I just had a gut feeling about it, especially since a lot of the reviews about the Fisher Price machines is that the motor fails. Ultimately though the deciding factor was the design of this swing. It really does look just as good in person as it does in the picture. It uses a sturdy aluminum tube frame that easily snaps together. HOWEVER take note that the overall footprint of this swing is LARGE. I'm not sure if the product dimensions given are of the box it comes in or assembled.Here is a list of pros and cons about the swing so farLPROS: - Comfortable inserts with a smaller removable insert for infants - 2-position back that elevates the baby (about a 20 degree difference, it's not much) - Like a lot of other swings it's got nature sounds and music. - 6-speed dial that offers plenty of range. Level 1 is a gentle push and Level 6 is fast. - 3 positions, facing left, facing right, or straight out. This is great when we want to dim the lights and face our baby away from the TV. - Removable rocker. We don't use this very much but it's nice to have the option. Be warned it's heavy with baby in it (It seems to weigh bout 7-10lbs alone) - Very atractive. - A/C adapter! I know other swings offer this as well but it's still a great feature that some swings lack. - VERY smooth swing action. I mean like butter. - Easy to put on 5-point harness for added safety.CONS: - When it gets settled in to a swing the motor is kinda loud when changing direction. You can hear it knock as it shifts direction. This may not be that bad since it's at least rhythmic. - The mobile doesn't spin or make noises. It just rotates a little bit in either direction and then re-centers. Would have been nice if it did more. - Rocker is heavy to carry around the house and it's tall. I'm 5'-9" and when I carry it it's about 6" from the ground. - Not a portable swing. When you set this up you leave it there. It can be shifted around the house but you're not gonna wanna take it to grandmas.If I ever get around to it I'll post up a video review of the swing as well. Overall I'm happy with my purchase. The only thing I worry about (and this goes for any swing) is the longevity of the motor. But as far as build quality elsewhere, this thing feels built to last. I also like the color scheme as it's unisex. This is great since we're on our first and we never know if we'll be getting another girl or a boy but rest assured we won't need another swing.

Looks nice and that's about it.

I bought this for our newborn (first baby) thinking it would be a great swing. After about two weeks of occasional use, it started making a loud clicking noise and the motor has now (after 5 weeks) pretty much gone out. Whether it is on level 6 or level 1, it barely moves. Being a first time mom, I thought maybe this was just the way baby swings were... Until someone gave me the Fisher Price My Little Snugabunny swing. That one blows this one away in all aspects and makes me mad that I bought this one instead, which actually cost more. The motor on the FP one is smooth and powerful, the mobile actually moves and appeals to baby (whereas this one is so muted and does nothing, it might as well not even be there), the sounds are much better with more variety and are shut off with the one power button on the system (whereas this one requires 3 separate switch offs, which doesnt sound like a big deal, but it is really annoying to have to manually turn off the swing, music and vibration, with a fussy baby in your arms). As far as the removable rocker aspect, it really has proven useless to me. The unit is too large and bulky to be able to move it around without waking the baby up. Plus, the music/sounds are housed on the swing itself, so if your baby needs the continuous white noise, you lose it as soon as you take the seat part away from the base. Really the only good part about this swing is the look, it is very pretty, but gender neutral and looks high quality. It was also easy to put together. Hopefully it will be as easy to take it apart and throw it away now that I have a swing that actually works. It was pretty much a total waste of money, and I would definitely recommend you consider other options (Fisher Price or Mamaroo). At the very least, I would say to buy this one at a store so you can return it if you also get a dud and it stops working in a couple weeks.

Finally found one my LO loves

I originally had the Graco Comfy Cove Swing-Faith and my daughter hated it. It only went forward and back and wasn't deep for comfort. It was also extremely loud. I took it back and found myself confused about what swing to get even after looking at a lot of reviews. I was skeptical on getting another Graco swing but decided on the DuetSoothe Swing & Rocker because my daughter loves to go side to side. The vibrate feature is amazing, it helps put her right to sleep and has two speeds. The swing can go front to back and side to side and there are 6 speeds. There is bird chirping sounds and musical sounds that are pretty decent. (Not a lot of baby products sounds are out of this world amazing anyway). What I really love about the swing is how soft it is. The fabric is amazingly soft and the seat is very deep and fits her nice and snug. The swing comes off and can rock on the floor. I havent tried that yet because I already have a floor bouncy chair but it is a convenient feature. The only bad things I can say about this is that the mobile does not move and the floor base is a little wide. Otherwise I love it, it looks very nice and sophisticated and my daughter loves it! She never wanted to be in the other swing and will sit in this one awake or nap in it. Very pleased and would recommend.

I'm a little disappointed.

On the positive side: the chair did arrive earlier than expected. The fabric is soft. Seems like a good solid frame.On the negative side: the box was held closed by only one strip of tape and that came loose in shipping and the box came open and there was a tear in the plastic that covered the chair right where the box was open. So I must assume it was handled roughly: enough to open the box and tear the plastic.The fabric is chenille. So it has textured lines. When upholstering the chair the fabric on the back rest was applied crooked so it makes the chair appear to sit lopsided.The instructions package for mounting the 4 feet to the chair says it includes:4 feet and 8 - 3" screws. I received 4 feet and 4 - 2" screws.:(

Nice armchair for our Little Girl

This armchair is awesome! It is so soft and impressively sturdy! Our daughter loves it. She is 13 months and tiny but climbs right up and sits to watch Bubble Guppies. However large enough that it should last her for years to come.

Great Reading and TV Viewing Chair

I cannot get my daughter (or my son) out of this chair. It is really comfortable, even for lounging with legs over the side. I bought this for my daughter for her room for reading, but it has become the favorite TV/video viewing chair. The chair is really well made, with a good amount of padding to make it very comfortable. The price was definitely right for the quality of the chair.

the sofa does not look like the picture.

I chose this sofa because it was the only one that appeared not to have characters on it. But the chair does not look like the image you see here with stars. It has a lot of animals on it. My kid was ok with it and we needed a chair like this in this price range, but I wouldn't have bought it had I known I was going to have to settle for characters. I would have chosen a better color scheme at least. NOT the same one pictured.

Imagine my surprise when my granddaughter opened her gift and I saw it was NOT the one I ordered. The one she received was a totally different design. I am not happy. The sellers are totally different also. The one I ordered was from Dreamworks. The one that came was from Harmony Kids.

Horrible product quality, oddly small for a chair

This product is NOT what you think it is. The chair's quality is absolutely HORRIBLE... its cheap particle-board wood that splits the minute you screw any of the screws or bolts into it. Furthermore, the chair is very oddly shaped. It only sits less than 1 foot off the ground and is very narrow. The cushions are very flimsy and shallow and it is NOT padded on the arm-rests, as the description says it is. Stay away from this item, it is horrible quality and not worth even $100, let alone $150...

Very good price!

Some assembly required. Wish I had a power Allen wrench - on the wish list! Manual allen wrench included with product. The only assembly required is the back and arms of chair.Regular wood - not particle board at all. Nice grain. No splitting as mentioned by another. After assembly, quite sturdy.The cushions are in a velveteen/pseudo suede cloth material, that go nicely with my shag carpet, Iron Butterfly, and disco ball.All in all, a fantastic bargain!
