Flimsy as can be.

I can't believe the quality-to-cost ratio of this product. Let's just say it's WAY off the mark and what you're paying for is the ottoman and the gliding mechanism. That's where all the money was spent during the manufacturing process--but that does not mean that this part of the chair is anything to write home about or durable.The cushion quality (i.e., fabric and general thickness) is the worst thing I've ever seen on a piece of furniture. The $70 Ikea chairs we checked out this past weekend actually seem better and well worth the money. Grant it, they are not for nursing but with a nursing pillow and a lumbar pillow, you could deal with it.I can't even figure out how to describe this fabric; the closest thing would be those thin mesh/papery/recycled type tote bags that companies use for giveaways or something that would come in a shoebox. It's THAT flimsy and I can tell you with a high degree of certainty that, no matter how careful you are, it will be prone to tearing.To make matters much worse, several areas of the wood frame arrived banged up, scratched, scraped, etc. Some of these imperfections are by NO means negligible and it would be considered an out-of-box item at any reputable store. Seriously, in the age of internet shopping, these people can't figure out how to package something like this and deliver it without incident?It does not seem structurally sound and if you're heavier than 180-200 lbs., I would not advise that you sit in this chair--and certainly not with a child in your arms. You can see exposed glue where the back rails/bars connect to the frame and the bars are extremely loose and "rubbery". They should have some give but it felt as though very little pressure would snap them in half. It also felt like lifting the chair to place it in the corner would altogether break the darn thing.Assembly was a challenge because the screw holes were not easy to align and a couple of them weren't cut out correctly (sizing was off). I hate writing reviews, especially negative ones but this product literally shocked me. After sitting in some higher-end ones at our birthing center, I'm incredibly disappointed that we can't even come close with a $250 chair.The sad reality is that the lower cost ones would be just about the same--but hey, at least they are not charging you $250 with shipping. Yes, these gliders are all made in China and if you have $700/800 for a high-end Dutailier, good for you. It's probably all from the same factory floor as the rest of these but I'm guessing the fabric will be significantly better. Had the chair been in the $130 range, I may not have cried myself to sleep last night.
