Parents/Grandparent Must Have

As grandparents, my wife and I are the primary care givers for our new grandson while his parents work. This swing was easy to assemble and is made very sturdy. It has nice features with soothing music, varying speeds, and a mirrored mobile. All work as described.

Not terrible, but not impressive

I bought this for my second baby based on the fact that we had a similar one that was a garage sale find for my first that he wore out/loved and we had to get rid of it. My only two requirements this time were price and that it had the plug in option. I highly recommend having the plug in feature no matter what.The swing's motor broke after 3 months. Somewhat understandable as we did use it quite a bit for naps and such. So I actually don't hold that against the swing. The things that sort of drove me nuts though about the swing: 1)It was loud. The swinging motion had a "click, click" to it with each swing. 2)The base/legs of the swing- if they were not positioned JUST right, the swing would lift a little. Not dangerous really, just made it even louder. The seat or basket for the child is not great for a newborn/small baby. Now I saw this when I bought it, and I thought that would be better as my daughter grew older.After the swing broke we bought the Fisher Price Snuggabunny swing which also offers the plug in option. I can't begin to emphasize enough how much higher quality this model is. It was priced higher, but with a sale we actually payed a little less than we did on this one. It is super quiet (you can barely hear it), the legs are built better (curved) so they automatically position and stay put, and the seat is built to work better for a small baby, but will work well to grow with baby too.I wouldn't say this was a terrible buy, but I highly recommend the snuggabunny or similar (there are a lot of similar options) that is built - in my opinion- overall to a higher quality.

Baby Swing

Very good product, do away with the crank up swings that go off soon as the baby is asleep, this one you can plug in and turn on that simple!
