Better than luggage

My wife and I purchased this rocker for our daughter's first birthday. With all of the gifts being opened that day we decided to just leave it in the Amazon box it shipped in rather than open it and wrap it properly. Mistake!We saved this gift for last. With 30+ family and friends watching I opened the shipping box and something didn't look right. I proceeded to open the box that the rocker should have been in and revealed, to everyone's surprise, a big blue suitcase hehe. We all had a laugh and Amazon promptly corrected the mix up.The rocker arrived yesterday and we are very pleased with the quality. The caterpillar itself is colorful, plush and overall the rocker feels pretty well constructed. Our daughter is going to be tall like me (she was 30.5" at her 1-year pediatrician visit) and her toes just touch the floor while sitting on it.Her first couple of rides were a little awkward but then she figured out that she could put her feet on the rocker frame and it all clicked. She grabbed hold of the handles and actually started rocking back and forth with my wife and I both in catch position. Sure, she started chewing on the antennae but she appears to enjoy it and we're hoping it stands up to the punishment a child is capable of unleashing.

Perfect gift for a Hungry Caterpillar 1st Birthday Party Theme

My son turned 1 and we went with Eric Carl's Very Hungry Caterpillar theme. We had everything the book mentioned and so I went on a hunt to buy my son something special with the caterpillar theme. I came across this beautiful and I mean beautiful rocker.The body is very soft and it is very sturdy. The color is very bright, just like the book and I highly recommend this rocker.Update: We purchased the rocker when he was one year old and he could only ride it with help, now my son is 15 months and he loves it. he can get on by himself and rock. He likes to tug on the soft antlers and I've caught him resting his head on the caterpillar's head (that's how soft it is).

The Hungry Caterpillar is a great looking in our caterpillar themed nursery. At the moment our child is a infant so theres not much use yet but im sure he will love it!
