Thank you Kaboost!

Every once in a while, I come across a product that I think needs to be distinguished as truly brilliant. When I first saw the Kaboost, I thought it was the neatest product and the answer to my 2 1/2 year-old son not wanting to sit in a booster seat. I have to admit that once I placed the order I was a bit skeptical if Kaboost would really be easy to use, fit my chair and also be stable. But I have to say, that this product really does live up to its name. It snapped onto my chair in seconds and even stays attached when the chair is moved. It even makes the chair more stable and my son climbs in and out of the chair by himself and feels just like everyone else. I highly recommend this product, it is truly brilliant.

My 2 year-old daughter and I LOVE it!

I have never written a review before but felt compelled to add my two cents.We have been struggling with our Eddie Bauer Highchair since my daughter started using it. I absolutely hated it--it was an unwanted, huge piece of furniture and it was increasingly difficult to get her in and out of it.As I was ready to chuck it and invest in the pricy Stokke chair, I found out about the Kaboost. Much cheaper and wouldn't take up a whole seat at the table?! I had to get it.Once you unfold the legs, you extend them and place your chair legs in one at a time. That was it. I got it in dark chocolate, which matches my Indonesian chairs perfectly. Looks a little space age, but a vast improvement on the ugly highchair. It stays on even when the chair is moved and actually stabilizes the chair.My daughter says, "Mommy 'fixed' the chair so I can sit in it". The best thing about the kaboost will be the look on your child's face when they pull up to the table for the first time in their grown up chair.Get it. Now.

Great design, but didn't work for us

We have twin toddler boys who don't necessarily need to be sitting in their high chairs anymore to eat at our table. Since we'd just purchased a new dining set, I was eager to retire their high chairs ... not to mention that TWO high chairs take up A LOT of room! So I found Kaboost and got REALLY excited about the design --- and I ordered two in Chocolate. I figured I'd raise two of our new dining chairs and leave them, until the boys didn't need to be boosted anymore. As it turned out, Kaboost raised our chairs a teensy too much (even on the lower setting). My kids' legs didn't fit between the seat of their chair and the wood skirt on the underside of the tabletop.We've had to go back to using the high chairs at the table.

Super compact; only two flaws

We love how compact this travel highchair is. We can put it in the basket of our stroller and whip it out as needed; it could probably even fit in a regular backpack or a very large diaper bag. The foldaway design is genius and we like the fact that it comes with/fits in its own small bag. We sold our Chicco 360 seat after getting this one, since this one is so much more portable.That said, the two downsides to this otherwise very nicely-designed product are:1) The included tray doesn't lock to the seat. While it's GREAT that a tray was even included, we would love if it locked into place with the seat so our little one couldn't push it out and overturn/fling it.2) Because the way it connects to the table are basically two heavy duty clamps, it only works on tables without a lip. We've found we're able to use it only 50% of the time when dining out due to this, plus the regular restrictions when using a hook-on chair (not on a tippy pedestal table, etc.). This is a pretty big downer because not being able to use it in so many instances defeats the purpose of having it and the convenience of its small size.

Might as well stick witht he Metoo

After owning this for over a month I haven't been able to get much use out of it. Like the other reviews said, it doesn't work everywhere. This seat has more of a clamp than a hook so if the table has a lip it won't fit around it. so far I've only been able to use it about 40% of the time. The tray is also mostly useless. It doesn't clip into the seat. It just kind of sits in between the clamps. My 15 month old knows this so I stopped using the tray to just avoid having to pick up the tray and the food that was on it off the floor.It does have some upgrades over the Phil & Teds Metoo chair. Extra padding and the storage bag with handle (although a very short handle) are a plus. I had a Metoo for a couple of years and have no complaints. After it was stolen I decided to hold off and wait for this one to come out. But in my opinion you might as well get the Metoo and save a bit of cash.

Stylish but Too "Deep" For our 8-month old

I had already purchased the Inglesina Fast Chair. Our daughter has been using the Fast Chair since about four months and loves sitting in it. We get compliments on it when we are in restaurants and its fairly easy to clamp on with big rubber top and bottom clamps to protect tables.But we decided that we'd probably prefer a snap on table with a tray as our daughter enters the "messy-eating-by-herself" stage. Enter the P&T Lobster. The P&T looks more stylish, is sleek, and has some serious clamp-on ability -- I certainly liked it better than the Inglesina. The only problem I had is that my daughter didn't! She's now 8 months old and a little over 26 inches tall. When she sits in the Inglesina she can easily see and manipulate items on the table in front of her, rest her arms on the chair sides, etc. There is still room to grow but she fits in it. In the P&T Lobster, the seat is so deep that she was drowning in it and while her head was still higher than the table top, she could no longer see things as well to interact with them. As a result, she doesn't like being in the chair and we've had to return it.It's possible the P&T will work beautifully for older children, but for our sizeable 8 month old, it was just too deep.One last thing, while this chair does have a tray, the tray simply slides in (and back out!) easily and has pretty small sides for holding food in. I didn't see a way to clip it to the chair or cause it to stay put when you have a wiggling kid trying to move everything around. It didn't strike me as a particularly solid or useful tray. I'm going with a tinydiner mat and the Inglesina for now until I find something better.

The DuoDiner is very versatile - it's easy to recline, set the height, and can be easily converted to a booster. I've found the material easy to clean, and the tray top comes off for easy sink washing. Note: the tray topper is dishwasher safe, but is way too big for an average household dishwasher. Expect to hand wash this.I've got small hands and have a hard time taking the tray on and off with one hand. It's heavy and awkward. My husband can do it with no problems - I suspect his bigger hands make it easier. Consider this when buying.The final issue is that the rear feet are very hard plastic and have scuffed our wood floors - easily fixed with some soft tape.Overall, a very good product whose strengths far outweigh its issues. Definitely recommended!

Sturdy, convenient

Pros:- STURDY! Our little 10/month (now 14 months) rocks back and forth when he's fussy and can't topple this chair- Harness not necessary: to put the baby in the seat you grab to levers on the side of the tray and slide out like a drawer. It locks into place at adjustable depths and if you secure it up to the baby's torso then there's no need for buckling him/her in each time. Our skinny baby throws himself over the sides sometimes and with the tray close to him he stays perfectly secure.- Top layer detachable - light grey tray cover easily clips on and off for easy washing in the sink. The darker gray base tray can also serve as a backup tray and that's also easily rinsed off.- Wheels in the front are helpful without making the chair too mobile. You have to lift up the back end while trying to utilize the wheels, which helps keep the baby in place instead of letting him/her roll around.- Chair padding/cover is detachable and washable. We generally just take a sani-wipe to it since it's waterproofCons:- Harness is built like a car seat. On the plus side your baby isn't going to escape. On the con side it's such a hassle to buckle the little one in each time... fortunately a well-secured tray will hold them in place without the harness so we forgo the belts altogetherBaby loves it! Used it for 4 months and still loving it.

Good looking, we'll see...

Arrived on time and undamaged (thank you Amamzon). And set-up was a breeze. In, fact it only took me about 10 mins and the instruction booklet was clear with lots of graphic examples. I want to tell the manufacturer though- please consider that someone needs to remove the stickers from the tray that you needlessly put on there. It took me longer to remove the stickers in the tan inset of the tray, than it did to set up the entire chair! darned stickers! But other than that (a minor issue really), awesome set up.Trial run: I put my 20 month old in it and it seemed to hold up very well. Sturdy, attractive, comfortable for him. The design is simple and to the point. It makes much more sense than the Evenflo that was handed down to me and broke very quickly with my son squirming around in it. I like the idea that I can move it to a dining chair and use it as a booster with the belts to keep my son seated at the table for meals. The transition between the highchair and putting it on a regular table chair seems simple and safe.UPDATE (almost 2 months of daily use): Everything on this highchair is easily washable- very few nooks for food to gunk up. The tray insert can be put in the dishwasher- so that's nice. I have not used it in the dishwasher (only handwashed) - but the tan insert snaps in and out easily. I have to say THAT is a life saver. It is so easy to clean!!!! The dark brown part of the tray and leg divider are all in one piece. That is nice because you can lift it out as well so food does not get gunked up around the legs. Once you can take the tray out, it's to easy brush off any dropped food from the seat. The dotted back insert also comes out for older children and washes very nicely on a gentle cycle.Overall- I love this highchair and the ease of operation it provides. It has made meal time much easier. And my child is much more comfortable in it than he was in our previous chair. I highly recommend it.

Doesn't beat Buggy Bagg

I did my research when looking for a cart cover for our 5-month-old, and could not decide between this or the Buggy Bagg. We ordered both & here are some things I noted about the two:RITZY SITZY:-nice patterns, soft fabric-wide leg holes (good for two children to sit in it at once)-has its own safety strap-fits most carts-hard to install, especially while holding a child-toy loops, small pockets-can be used to cover highchair, although we never tried-does not cover EVERY part of cart-child who can not sit up independently may have hard time staying up-machine washableBUGGY BAGG:-great box-like design, keeps toys from going on ground when dropped-holds bottles, toys, etc.-VERY easy to install. Simply place bag in cart & unzip!-has its own safety strap-large zipper pouch for keys, phone, etc.-covers all of cart, has velcro cover for bar in between legs as well-fits large carts easily, small carts it is a little big for but still works-comes with attached soft pillow which helps baby who can't sit up yet stay up-machine washableAfter using both, we decided that we absolutely loved the Buggy Bagg. It costs about $20 more, but well worth it for the extra features. The Ritzy Sitzy is nice and has beautiful fabric, but, in my opinion, it is not worth $65. If you needed a cover to use with 2 children, it may be worth it, but if you are just looking for a simple cover there are a lot of cheaper ones that are just as nice.

Fits EVERYTHING, and easy to use

We have used this cover on everything, and we love it! We bought a second so we could keep one in each of our cars. It looks exactly like the picture, and is completely reversable. There are two toy hooks on both sides (reversible), and there is a pouch in the back for things like your keys or cell phone.There is elastic around the the entire outside edge, which is great for a few reasons. One, it helps it fit around just about anything. Two, baby is less likely to pull it off! It covers the entire way around, not just the front and back, and even on small things it's not too baggy or in the way. I love the Itzy Ritzy shopping cart cover. Not only does it protect myself and my little one from germs, but it also creates a special place for my daughter to sit. The cover catches little snacks that fall and other spills while shopping too---so we are not like hazel and gretel around the store. I get so many positive comments about my shopping cart cover, that I actually have two. Thanks Itzy Ritzy!

Real Value...not a forgotten concept

We bought this for use at Grandma's house since it can be collapsed down and put into a closet or under a bed and the price was very reasonable. We weren't expecting much since our primary chair at home is all wood and a much more expensive chair, I also tend to dislike things made with plastics and have found they are usually flimsy and disposable. Much to our surprise it turned out to be a terrific chair and has a high perceived value, which can't be said very often anymore. It is very adjustable at multiple points, easy to clean, sturdy yet light, seems well built and thought out. Assembly is a snap. Our daughter was very comfortable in it and it looks better in person than the pictures.

Nice highchair, good purchase

We looked at so many highchairs, but I am very pleased that we settled on this one. The assembly took about 15 minutes (12 pieces plus 3 screws, 2 bolts, and 2 nuts) with just a screwdriver and pliers. I have assembled plenty of DIY furniture and such (Ikea bookcases and the like) and this was by far simpler. I assembled it by myself, and did not have to grow extra arms to hold everything together while doing so.I uploaded some pictures, as the only one on the site is the generic pic. Among the things you can see: how compactly the highchair folds up, how the tray hangs on the back of the highchair when not needed, how it fits underneath the dining room table.I am very pleased with this purchase. There are no crevices to clean, so the highchair doesn't get all gunky. The cover removes easily for cleaning, and I really like the pattern. The chair rolls easily and folding/unfolding is simple.All in all, very pleased. Especially for the cost, this highchair seems hard to beat.

Pretty good highchair; Great value

In general, I like the minimalistic design; There's no extra plastic to bulk up the look or take up extra space near the floor. The wheels were an absolute must and these roll smoothly. While a little rough, the fabric is neutral and cute. I also really like the trigger method of adjusting the seat height. Lastly, you cannot beat the price.REVISED (twice! - I want to love it, but there are a few issues):1.) Tray adjustment: My main concern is the tray doesn't adjust so it's snug against my 2.5 yr old's belly. It's almost okay, but 2-4 more inches closer would be perfect. What stops the adjustable tray from moving in closer is the hinge for the legs. It would take a redesign of the shape of the tray to solve the issue. Building a deeper tray articulated a little closer around a child's belly would not have prevented larger children from being able to fit because the tray slides outward.2.) Dual tray design: I like the 2-tray system. Unlike other highchairs that have received bad marks in this area, the top tray is not easily snapped off of the main tray by my toddler. I hope this remains true over time! However, there is a major issue at the edge facing his body. Food and drinks keep dripping and oozing in between the two trays because there is an open gap that faces upward. The top tray could be redesigned with a lip that curled completely over the edge of the bottom tray. Okay, so you might be thinking, "what's the big deal?". Well, it's not a gigantic problem, but it does cause me to have to take the two trays apart from each other and clean the tops of both and the bottom of the top tray.... often. This is extra work that could have been prevented.3.) Legs / Stance: While in the intro of this review, I raved about the minimal plastic toward your feed. Well, this was my initial impression. Now, I have realized that the plastic support connecting the two front feet actually does get in the way sometimes. I cannot get as close to the baby as I could with my Graco chair that didn't have plastic in this area. Also, the stance is deeper. So while the chair design IS in fact minimalistic (compared with my much-older Graco chair), the stance causes me to trip. Maybe I'm just a little clumsy ;)Bottom line - It's almost perfect so I DO still recommend it. A bib with a pocket to catch food and a towel on the lap does help the situation. However, after a couple of weeks I am growing tired of spills that make it to his lap and of washing extra towels. It was really no trouble to put together. I'm not sure why the previous reviewer had problems. The only tip I'd add is be careful when you attach the gray brackets to the sides of the seat. I wasn't paying attention and did not make sure the adjustment nubs (on the chair) were inside the groves (on the brackets) before I tightened the darned things down. That mistake caused a 5 minute backtrack, but no big deal.

A well-designed, comfortable, convenient and affordable product!

This is a wonderful, well-designed item for children who are capable of sitting in a shopping cart, but may not be big enough to fill up the seat. The pillows help the child feel secure. The straps for toys are a necessity. The entire package folds up nicely into a small duffle bag size with a built in handle. I have used this cover in the larger shopping carts (at Costco) as well as the smaller grocery carts. It easily adapts to both sizes. The cover comes in attractive neutral prints[..].

Wanted to like it, but ended up never using it - too small!

I had high hopes for this shopping cart cover, and in some respects, it did deliver. Unfortunately it mostly goes unused, and we've started using one of the extra-large, elasticized "floppy" covers instead.Basically, the cover is very well designed, it's just too small. I love the little side pillows, which can be removed as baby gets bigger. The pockets and toy straps are really useful, and the way the bag rolls up into a neat little duffel is pretty ingenious. The design for attaching the cover to the cart using Velcro would be terrific - if it fit! Unfortunately, this cover is too small to be used properly in an average size shopping cart. I tried it on the carts at Target, and there was no way I could actually wrap the front of the cover around the handle of the cart and attach it with the provided Velcro. If I had, the bottom of the leg openings would sit about five inches ABOVE the seat! I've examined the photo included with the product description closely and concluded that either the one they sent me is much smaller, or the shopping cart used for the photo is incredibly small.Oh, and one other thing - the color and pattern. Not a big deal, but the color/pattern is not as pictured on the product description. It is indeed a "sage pin dot" - that is, it's sage green with white pin or polka dots.Overall a great idea for a design, but poorly executed. Unless you're shopping at stores with tiny carts, I'd look for a different style of cart cover.

On my list of must-have baby items!

This was one of those items on my registry that people told me I didn't need or wouldn't use. That was wrong. I use it all the time!Pros:* The pillows on the sides are wonderful. I don't have to worry about my baby toppling over when I make a turn! She can also curl up and get comfy if she's tired.* The part that wraps around the handle is good to keep her from sucking on the handle, but it also protects me from those grocery store germs too!* The straps for the toys are a great idea so her toys don't end up on the floor* It easily folds up into itself to make it easy to carry* It's easy to set up on the cart with a baby in your arms* It has its own adjustable belt strap - you don't have to use the gross ones in the cart* It covers the WHOLE seat of the cart. There were a number of covers that I looked at that only covered part of the seat - what's the point?Cons:* It is a little small for some carts, but that hasn't stopped me from using it. The worst that happens is the back part won't go all the way over the back of the seat, which doesn't affect my daughter at all - it just means I can't use the pockets on the back.* You'll want to go shopping more often once you have this, which will make you spend more $$ ( :) )

Practical and cute!

This was a gift for our daughter's first birthday. It is very cute and well constructed. However, some of the hardware was defective. With a simple run to the hardware store we were able to put it together completely. Our daughter loves the little engraved animals on the table and chairs, she is constantly touching and pointing to them. It's been a big hit. She's still a bit of a clumsy walker, so you have to be careful about potential head bonking! I imagine it would be perfect for a 2 year old.

Doesn't hold up

I loved this table and chairs when I first bought it.It looks great, and the storage hold in the middle is something that the kids loved (until they stood in it too often as toddlers and destroyed the fabric--no complaints about that though, it's the reality of having 2 toddlers). However, we've had it now for a little less than 2 years and I have to complain about the chair legs which have not held up well at all. The legs have repeatedly fallen off the chair (because the screw receptor doesn't stay inside the leg), and wood glue is not enough to solve the problem. I think the fact that the legs seem to be made of particle board/fake wood is the main reason this happens.

Very bad quality

I purchased this table on January. Three days after it arrived one leg broke and the leg of one of the chairs broke as well. I requested another table and it came in five days. Within March the leg of the second table broke down, and the upper part of the chair broke as well. Tried to return it, unfortunately the item cannot be returned after two months. It looks very good, but it is horrible quality.

Simple solution for height adjustment

For all of the complaints about not being able to adjust the height for older babies, there is a simple diagram and explanation in the user manual that comes with the jumper:"If jumper is too close to floor:1. Pull on small loop as shown untl the sewn end of the loop passes through the slot in the adjustment buckle.2. Continue to pull out the small loop as shown until the strap is proper length."These directions along with the picture in the manual make the adjustment very simple. Our baby was getting too tall to just make the normal adjustment and after referring to the manual, we made the change in less than 30 seconds.This is why user manuals are included with products--read them when you purchase the product and don't throw them away, thinking you won't need them. I hate to think of all the jumpers that were tossed out because parents didn't think ahead.

Great spring, sturdy construction.

We bought this jumper when my daughter was 4 months old and from the first moment in it, she has loved it! She entertains herself a little while each day and is building her strength very quickly.The spring is both quiet and supple making for a smooth, pleasant bounce. The seat is deep and safe, well secured and very easy to insert. It's also a nice fun color with cool blue seat and straps that don't scream, "Hey I'm a plastic baby toy!" (Which is nice for a change.) Getting baby in and out is the only hard part (around straps and into a seat baby can kick and move isn't the easiest thing). But after doing it a couple of times I figured out what worked and baby began to anticipate going into the seat so that now she sticks her legs down straight for me and slides right in.Since we installed the Jumper from a beam in the middle of our living room, we don't have any experience with the possibility of finger squishing against wood work. But based on watching my baby jump, she only really sways side to side when the seat is not positioned high enough, so perhaps that problem is resolvable. I also notice that her attention to the little toys that came with it (and any other toy we put on her tray) tends to keep her hands busy and out of danger.One note about the toys - there isn't enough Velcro on them to keep them secure when she tugs on them, so be prepared to have to pick up and reattach the things. On the other hand, I have found that those great MAM pacifier clips work beautifully to attach other toys to the straps very securely.I would recommend this product to anyone. The time it gives me for housework or homework or just to eat my lunch without little hands in my food, is invaluable.
